Accessibility

Declaration on the accessibility of the website 4visionglobal.com.

Introduction

We strive to make the website 4visionglobal.com accessible to all people. This declaration describes the current status of accessibility based on a technical review of the code.

Technically Implemented

  • Semantic HTML structure: The website uses semantic HTML elements (header, main, footer, nav, section, article) for a clear document structure.
  • Heading hierarchy: Headings (h1–h6) are used in a logical, hierarchical order.
  • Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements (links, buttons, form fields) are accessible and operable via keyboard.
  • Focus states: Visible focus states are defined globally via :focus-visible with an orange outline (2px solid).
  • Form labels: Form fields in supporting membership and login are associated with labels.
  • Alt text for images: Informative images have alt text; decorative images are marked as aria-hidden.
  • SSL encryption: The entire website is delivered via HTTPS.
  • Responsive design: The website is optimized for desktop, tablet, and smartphone (mobile-first approach).
  • Semantic buttons: Action buttons and navigation links are used semantically correctly.
  • No exclusive color coding: Information is not conveyed exclusively through color; text and icons are additionally used.

Currently Not Fully Tested

  • Contrast check: A systematic check of all text and background combinations according to WCAG 2.1 AA has not yet been performed. The color palette used (dark green, orange, cream) is designed for contrast, but individual areas (especially footer with low text opacity) could fall below minimum contrast.
  • Screen reader test: Comprehensive testing with common screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver) has not yet been performed.
  • ARIA extensions: Some interactive components (e.g., mobile menu, dropdown) use ARIA attributes, but a complete ARIA review has not been performed for all components.
  • Form error messages: Form validation displays error messages, but programmatic linking to the respective fields (aria-describedby) is not fully implemented.
  • Skip link: A "Skip to Content" link for keyboard users is currently not implemented.
  • Stripe Checkout: The transition to Stripe Checkout redirects to an external page. Accessibility of this page is Stripe's responsibility; a review was not performed on our side.

Legal Framework

For Austrian websites, the Federal Act on the Equality of Persons with Disabilities (Federal Disability Equality Act – BGStG) and, where applicable, the Disability Employment Act (BEinstG) may be relevant.

Whether the strict requirements of the BGStG (in particular accessibility requirements according to WCAG 2.1 AA) apply to 4VisionGlobal's specific website must be legally examined. A conclusive legal assessment cannot be provided at this point.

Note: This declaration describes the actual technical state and does not constitute a legal assessment of compliance.
